Rainbow Bridge

31 Jul

Shared in a few doodle groups today. Made me cry and I wanted share. I know what it feels like to lose a pet. I know how hard your heart and your head hurts processing the loss. Everyone heals at a different pace in a different way but I just want to say I can relate to what you are feeling…..

A Letter from the Rainbow Bridge

Hi, Mom

Now that I’ve been across The Rainbow Bridge for a couple weeks, they said I should write a letter home. Sorry, Mom but I’m so busy ‘across the bridge’ that I haven’t thought of home much. They said it’s okay and that you would understand. I hope you do. (I think you will.)

Opportunity For Guardian Families – Female Dogs

18 Oct

So here is some background first – I have 3 girls in my house full time. In addition to everything else I have going on, I spend time working on training each of my dogs to sit, stay, down, leave it, walk off leash, etc. There are only so many hours in the day and when I want to spend time working with each girl individually and take her out to the Mill Creek Town Center to be around other people, it can end up taking me several hours for just my 3 girls here full time and if you did not know I also have a full time job (working from home but it is FT).

I also can’t have more than 3 dogs here full time AND have my Mommies come back here to have puppies, it just gets to be too crazy and that isn’t good for anyone. The way to work around this issue is a guardian program.

Want To See Doodles? Our Visitation Policy

22 Jul

Our first litter will be 4 years old next month. Time has flown by and I have gone from advertising on Craigslist to a waitlist of over 20. I am so grateful for the love that we have received. THANK YOU.

With this new attention, I have seen an increase in the amount of messages that I receive asking to come over and meet our dogs or play with puppies. I have also been surprised by a few random people that never even called me, they just showed up at my front door. Just to be clear, that is scary and I would never invite you in my house if you do that. The only downside to this home based business is that I don’t have an office or kennel outside our home for people to visit.

Guardian Families

07 Jul

We found a home for Childish Gambino! He was placed last week and doing so well! There is a chance that we will have guardian opportunities for females in the future but I don’t plan on adding additional males for awhile.

I have been considering keeping a female from Adele or Gaga as a future Mommy for us but that would be in 2019. I will post again when we are looking for a future guardian family! Thank you so much for the interest! If you are considering a pup give me a call so we can get you on the waitlist!

Easter 2018

01 Apr

I know I am so overdue for a blog post and I have wanted to update about day to day life, our awesome reunion we had in February at House of Ruff in Seattle, recent breeding/date nights with Jay Z and hoping Fergie and JLo are both currently pregnant, etc but for now how about some cute Easter pics? I spend so much time staring at dog pics on Instagram (way too much time honestly!) and I am so impressed with all of the creativity, obvious dog training and great photography skills! I look back at some of our old pics and I’ve got to say that wow, we’ve come a long way. It doesn’t hurt that I’ve changed groomers, I do a better job of combing the girls out daily and they get a regular “tune up” (my term) every month that includes a nail trim and also a mini haircut and comb out (in case I missed anything). I remember when someone told me JLo ‘looks cuter in person’ and I thought what the heck she is gorgeous but when I look back at that pic I think why the heck wasn’t she groomed?!! Just for giggles here’s the comparison:

Haha! I hope you got a laugh. She needs a good cut but I can still see how cute she is. Anyway, I think this year’s pics are adorable and way better than last year!
